How to Get a System for your B2B Business

Step 1: Outbound Prospecting
In the early days, the fastest way to fill your pipeline is simple: reach out to people directly.
That means:
Sending DMs on LinkedIn & Facebook
Calling prospects
Launching cold email campaigns
Notice what’s missing? Ads.
You don’t need to spend on ads until you’ve got proof of concept.

Step 2: Appointment Setting
This is where you separate tire-kickers from decision-makers.
The job of the setter is simple:
Qualify the lead
Confirm they’re the right fit
Book the call with you (the closer)
Think of setters as “traffic controllers” for your sales funnel.
Step 3: Sales Calls
At first, you are the sales team.
You take the calls, you close the deals, you learn the objections.
Later, once revenue allows, you can bring in a closer and step back into more of a CEO role.
But don’t skip this step. The fastest way to understand your market is by talking to it.
Step 4: Fulfillment & Delegation
Once a client signs, the work gets passed to fulfillment.
At this point, you want to be asking yourself:
What tasks can I delegate to a VA or fulfillment partner?
What is the highest-leverage work only I can do?
👉 Rule of thumb: if it’s admin, repetitive, or behind the scenes → delegate it.
👉 If it’s strategy, content creation, or relationship-driven → keep it.
Step 5: Content & Reputation
Here’s the step almost everyone overlooks.
Posting content is not just a “nice-to-have.”
It’s what makes you Google-able.
When a prospect hears your name and types it into Google, what do they see?
A blank page with no reviews? (instant doubt)
Or a trail of posts, case studies, and testimonials that build trust before you even hop on the call?
Content compounds. A single post today could land you deals months from now.
The Big Lesson
Businesses don’t usually die from starvation.
They die from overeating — taking on more clients than they can fulfill for, with no system in place.
That’s why building this funnel matters. It gives you control:
A steady flow of leads
A predictable sales process
A backend that can actually deliver
When you have this machine running, scaling becomes inevitable.
Action Plan for You
Here’s how to apply this in your own business starting today:
Pick one outbound channel (DMs, calls, or cold email). Stick with it until you’ve booked 10+ meetings.
Block 2 hours per day for outreach. Treat it like client work.
Take every sales call yourself until you’re closing consistently.
As soon as possible, hire a VA to take admin off your plate.
Start posting content weekly — even if it’s simple wins, insights, or FAQs.
Do this, and you’ll have a sales engine most businesses never figure out.
